7. Began a feud with Matt Hardy as Edge had an affair with Lita whilst she was with Matt in real life. The whole situation got very messy as Matt Hardy rang up an online show of WWE’s (WWE Byte) to tell the WWE Universe what was going on, this resulted in Matt getting fired.

8. Matt Hardy was rehired and begun a feud with Edge, their first match being at SummerSlam, in which Edge slammed Matt’s face into a turnbuckle

9. The next couple of matches between the pair were a Street Fight Match, a Steel Cage Match and a Loser Leaves RAW Match

10. Edge suffered a torn pectorial muscle

1. During time off for injury, Edge created Cutting Edge a talk show on RAW dubbing himself the Rated R Superstar

2. Edge used Cutting Edge to start a feud with Ric Flair following Ric’s arrest for a road rage incident.

3. Edge continued goading Ric until Ric came to attack him during a segment of Cutting Edge

4. The pair fought at New Year’s Revolution for the Intercontinental Championship where Ric retained due to Edge getting disqualified

5. That same evening, saw Edge win the WWE Championship off Cena after Vince decreed that Edge would be cashing in on an exhausted and bloody Cena.

6. On RAW the night after, Edge announced he would have a “live sex show” with Lita

7. During some foreplay, Ric Flair came out, declared that Edge was a “disgrace” and “terrible in the sack”

8. Royal Rumble (2006) Edge lost the WWE Championship back to Cena

9. Edge then started a feud with Mick Foley after Edge claimed Mick was a bias referee and attacked him.

10. WrestleMania 22 (2006) the pair had a brutal hardcore match in which Edge won after spearing Mick through a flaming table

11. Edge had a triple threat match with Cena and Triple H for the WWE Championship but lost

12. Edge then went on to have a triple threat hardcore match with Mick Foley and Tommy Dreamer, but Mick betrayed Tommy with the help of Edge

13. Edge helped Rob Van Dam win the WWE Championship by spearing Cena through a table

1. Edge became 2x Champion after blindsiding Cena with the WWE Championship and pinning RVD

2. Edge unveiled the Rated R Championship after Lita destroyed Cena’s spinner belt

3. Edge and Cena had a TLC Match in Toronto, in which Cena said if Edge won, he’d move to SmackDown and Cena was booed into oblivion in Toronto even though Edge was a heel. Cena became WWE Champion again

4. Newly reformed DX cost Edge his “final chance” at winning the Championship back from Cena in a Steel Cage Match

5. Edge teamed with Randy Orton to take on DX

6. Survivor Series (2006) Rated RKO won the WWE World Tag Championship from Ric Flair and Roddy Piper

7. Rated RKO finally got to fight with DX for the WWE World Tag Championship but it was declared no contest after Triple H got injured

8. Rated RKO lost the WWE World Tag Championship to HBK and Cena

9. Rated RKO disbanded

1. At Money In The Bank (2007) Matt Hardy pushed Edge off a ladder and encouraged his brother Jeff to go after him, Jeff did by throwing himself off of a 20ft ladder injuring them both

2. Edge goaded MITB winner Mr Kennedy into a match for the briefcase in which he won by attacking Mr Kennedy before the match. Edge became the only person to win the MITB briefcase without taking part in the ladder match first

3. Edge cashed in on an injured Undertaker who was injured by Mark Henry

4. Edge had 3 successful title defences against Batista

5. Edge was forced to relinquish the World title due to another torn pectoral following an attack from Kane

6. Upon return, Edge interfered in the World Heavyweight Championship match between The Undertaker and Batista

1. Edge then entered into an on-screen relationship with SmackDown GM Vickie Guerrero

2. Edge had another World Championship title match against Batista but lost due to interference from The Undertaker

3. Armageddon (2007) Edge won his second World Heavyweight Championship after hitting The Undertaker with two chair shots and pinning Batista

4. Edge used two lookalikes during the match to confuse Batista and The Undertaker, the lookalikes were non-other than Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins

5. Edge also formed an alliance with Chavo Guerrero

6. Edge assisted in helping Chavo win the ECW Championship off of CM Punk (2008)

7. Edge formed a team called La Familia with; Chavo, Zack, Curt, Vicky and Bam Neely

3. WrestleMania 24, Edge lost the Championship to The Undertaker after tapping out to the Hell’s Gate

4. Vickie Guerrero stripped Undertaker of the World Heavyweight Championship for using the Hell’s Gate which she said she banned, this resulted in a title match between him and Edge at Judgement Day in which no-one won due to Edge losing via count-out

5. A TLC Match was rescheduled for Edge and Undertaker at One Night Stand. Vickie Guerrero added a stipulation that if Undertaker lost, he’d be fired

6. Edge won after interference from Chavo Guerrero and Bam Neely

7. Edge retained against Batista at Night Of Champions with a little help from La Familia

1. Edge gloated on RAW that all the best Champions were on RAW, an angry Batista came out and hit Edge with the Batista Bomb

2. CM Punk came running out with a referee, cashed in his MITB contract by hitting Edge with a Go To Sleep

3. Due to this, Edge called off the wedding with Vickie Guerrero but, after Vickie saved Edge from a con-chair attack from The Big Show, Edge re-proposed and the wedding was back on

4. However, the wedding was ruined by Triple H coming out and sharing a video of Edge cheating on Vickie with wedding planner Alicia Fox

5. At The Great American Bash, Edge had a Championship match against Triple H. Alicia Fox tried to pass the Championship to Edge to hit Triple H with it, Vickie stopped this and Edge accidentally hit her with a spear. Triple H retained

1. Edge tried to apologise to Vickie Guerrero for what happened, and she responded by announcing that she had re-hired The Undertaker and Edge would face him in a Hell In A Cell Match at SummerSlam

2. Edge turned in La Familia by attaching Chavo Guerrero and then pushing Vickie out of a wheelchair

3. Edge verbally assaulted Vickie Guerrero, he then forced her to apologise to Undertaker and said what happened to La Familia was her fault

4. Edge lost to Undertaker at SummerSlam

5. Returning at Survivor Series, Edge was placed into a Triple Threat match for the WWE Championship replacing Jeff Hardy

6. Edge pinned Triple H to become WWE Champion

7. Edge lost the WWE Championship to Jeff Hardy in a Triple Threat Match where Triple H was the third man

8. At Royal Rumble (2009) Edge regained the WWE Championship due to interference from Matt Hardy

9. Jeff Hardy pinned Edge in an Elimination Chamber Match at No Way Out, later that nigh, Edge entered himself into the World Championship Elimination Chamber Match by attacking Kofi Kingston

10. Edge won the World Championship and took the Championship to SmackDown

1. Edge lost the World Championship to Edge at WrestleMania 25 (2009) to John Cena in a Triple Threat Match that also included Big Show

2. Edge regained the Championship after defeating Cena in a Last Man Standing Match after interference from Big Show

3. Edge successfully defended the Championship against Jeff Hardy at Judgement Day but then lost it to him at Extreme Rules in a Ladder Match

4. Edge told Vickie Guerrero he only “married her” because of her authority role and sought a divorce

5. Edge and Chris Jericho won the Unified WWE Tag Championship

6. Edge was now a record setting 12x World Tag Team Champion

7. Edge tore his Achilles and was out for about a year, during this time, Jericho teamed with Big Show and mocked Edge for his injury

1. Royal Rumble (2010) Edge returned as a surprise entrant (29) in the Rumble and eliminated Cena for the win

2. At WrestleMania 26, Edge failed to capture the World Heavyweight Championship from Chris Jericho

3. Edge Speared Randy Orton thus costing him a title shot in a Triple Threat Match against Sheamus and Batista

4. Edge and Randy began to feud, largely this was due to Randy’s refusal to re-from Rated RKO as Edge wanted to regain the tag Championship he’d been stripped off

5. Over the course of 2010, Edge lost various matches, including a MITB Match and a Championship Match

6. Edge took part in the Team WWE vs Team Nexus seven-on-seven elimination match. Edge got eliminated but Team WWE won

7. Edge eliminated himself from the elimination match against The Nexus during SmackDown’s 900th episode

8. Edge then entered a feud with the Anonymous RAW GM who cost Edge several matches

1. Edge lost an elimination six-pack challenge for the WWE Championship

2. Edge defeated Jack Swagger at Hell In A Cell

3. Bragging Rights (2010) Edge led Team SmackDown to victory

4. Edge defeated Rey Mysterio and Alberto Del Rio to become the number one contender for the World Heavyweight Championship at Survivor Series

5. Edge lost against David Otunga after interference from Paul Bearer

6. Edge kidnapped Paul Bearer and used him to cost Kane a win against Big Show

7. Edge then tourted Paul by forcing him to play Dodgeball and force feeding him

8. Edge ambushed Kane and then drove away with Paul

9. At Survivor Series, Edge lost due to a double pin

10. Edge got a rematch against Kane for the title as long as he released Paul Bearer, however Edge didn’t keep his word, he lured Kane outside and ran over a dummy Paul and drove off with the real one.

11. Edge continued to taunt Kane with Paul Bearer dummies

12. Edge and Kane had a non title match to decide a match at TLC, Edge won and decided a Tables, Ladders and Chairs match

13. Edge then left a man dressed at Paul Bearer and fled with the real one tied up on a truck

1. Kane begged for Paul Bearer’s release but Edge refused

2. Kane refused to take part in a match partnering Alberto Del Rio. Kane caught up with Edge and accidentally pushed the real Paul off of two ladders mistaking him for a dummy

3. Teddy Long added Rey Mysterio and Alberto Del Rio to the TLC Match due to fearing Kane would no-show

4. Edge defeated Kane, Alberto and Rey at TLC to become World Heavyweight Championship

5. Edge then retained the World Championship against Kane ending their feud

6. Royal Rumble (2011) Edge successfully retained against Dolph Ziggler

7. Edge “fired” by Vickie Guerrero and the World Heavyweight Championship was awarded to he on-screen boyfriend Dolph Ziggler

8. Teddy Long reinstated Edge and Edge defeated Dolph

9. Edge defended the Championship at Elimination Chamber match at Elimination Chamber

10. After the match, Alberto Del Rio attacked Edge but he was saved by a returning Christian

11. Edge and Christian reformed briefly to take on Alberto and his bodyguard Brodus Clay

12. WrestleMania 27, Edge successfully defended the title against Alberto Del Rio

1. April 11th 2011, Edge announced he would be retiring as he was diagnosed with Cervical Spinal Stenosis. April 15th, Edge officially relinquished the World Heavyweight Championship

2. March 31st 2012, Edge was inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame

3. After various appearences over the years, January 26th 2020, Edge appeared in the Royal Rumble

4. The following night, Edge cut a promo about returning and got attacked by Randy Orton
