Yesterday, (December 26th) AEW shared a heartbreaking announcement. Jon Huber aka Brodie Lee (fka Luke Harper) had tragically passed away. Jon’s now widow, shared that he died from a non-Covid lung issue. Shock flooded the wrestling world quickly, from Impact to New Japan, memorial Tweets poured onto people’s timelines. He was a deeply beloved man, people who shared the ring with him, trained him, had conversations with him told stories of a man who made an immense impact on the wrestling world. Jon was more than just an amazing wrestler, he was a good man and a wonderful father to his two sons – Brodie and Nolan, whenever he spoke about them, it was clear that they were the centre of his universe. Jon’s career spanned 18 years, and in that time he wrestled for many companies. In that time, he made quite the mark in wrestling, from being member of The Wyatt Family to being Mr Brodie Lee – The Exalted One in AEW.

Rest In Peace Jon Huber December 16th 1979 – December 26th 2020
