Nancy Toffoloni started her wrestling career in Florida Championship Wrestling in ’84, where she became part of Kevin Sullivan’s stable – The Satanists. Nancy, known as Fallen Angel, was joined by The Lock, Luna Vachon, The Purple Haze and Sir Oliver Humperdink. The stable toured the United States for many Wrestling Promotions including Angelo Savoldi’s ICW and Southwest Champy Wrestling. Nancy married Kevin Sullivan, she wrestled against Debbie Combes for NWA Polynesian Wrestling in Hawaii in which she lost by disqualification.

Nancy moved to World Championship Wrestling where she appeared as a “fan” of Rick Steiner in the crowd. Nancy, as Robin Greene then went onto manage The Steiner Brothers, Rick and his brother Scott. She then eventually aligned with Kevin Sullivan, turning on The Steiner’s, she became known as Woman. Nancy became the manager of Doom, Butch Reed and Ron Simmons. Doom debuted at Halloween Havoc ’89 where they defeated The Steiner Brothers, Doom then came fourth in the Iron Team Tournament at the Starrcade of ’89. Doom’s losses continued and it worsened when Woman ditched them to manage the Four Horsemen.

Nancy and Kevin moved away from WCW to join Extreme Championship Wrestling. In ECE, she managed her husband and The Tazmaniac, where they became ECW World Tag Team Champions, the team had a feud with The Public Enemy and Kevin even had a fairly bloody feud with Abdullah The Butcher. Kevin moved away from ECW and Woman went onto manage The Sandman. Sandman’s character had become estranged with his wife and valet – Peaches, Woman drove a wedge further between the pair, convincing Sandman that Peaches was cheating on him with Tony Cairo.

Woman would light Sandman’s cigarettes and open his beers before each match, she would then carry a Singapore Cane in which she’d attack any opponent of Sandman. May ’94 at When World’s Collide, Woman and Sandman lost to Peaches and Cairo in a Singapore Cane Match, after the match, Peaches caned Sandman in the groin, but then Woman threw salt in Peaches eyes and Sandman attacked both of them with a cane. Midway through ’94, Sandman began feuding with Tommy Dreamer after Tommy kissed Woman, the feud climaxed in an I Quit Match in which it seemed like Sandman was blinded by a lit cigarette that Tommy pushed into Sandman’s eye and then caned him in the face. Woman deemed The Sandman as useless and decided to leave him.

During November To Remember, Peaches tried to reconcile with Sandman, but Woman interrupted this by caning Peaches and threatening Sandman, this lead to Tommy Dreamer coming to the ring to put a stop to Woman, Sandman revealed that he wasn’t blinded by the cigarette and the wedge between him and Woman was nothing more than a plot to make Tommy Dreamer and Tony Cairo at odds with each other. Woman and Sandman pulled another trick of a fake split when she teamed with Shane Douglas only to turn on him and help Sandman win his second ECW World Heavyweight Championship. Woman began to carry the ECW World Heavyweight Championship to the ring for Sandman.

Woman helped Sandman defend the ECW WH Championship against Cactus Jack, she then also managed Sandman’s ally – 2 Cold Scorpio who was ECW’s World Television Championship. Sandman entered into a feud with Mikey Whipwreck and during this feud, Woman became visibly turned on by Sandman caning Mikey, Sandman’s reign ended to Mikey when Stunning Steve Austin prevented Woman from interfering. 2 Cold Scorpio and Sandman won the ECW World Tag Team Championship and Sandman recaptured the ECW HW Championship, this gave Woman control over all three Championships. One both men lost the Championships, Woman announced she would be returning to WCW.

Woman’s return to WCW as part of many women who were waving at Macho Man Randy Savage and Hulk Hogan in the aisle as the duo entered the ring. Woman turned on Macho Man during his match against Chris Benoit and then joined; him, Ric Flair and Brian Pillman in their version of the Four Horsemen, Miss Elizabeth was also a manger of them. In ’96, Brian left the Horsemen, Steve McMichael and his wife Debra joined the stable. Woman didn’t like them joining and the feeling was mutual, as Steve and Woman would bicker and Debra would frequently belittle Woman’s looks and fashion sense in Four Horsemen backstage interviews.

Nancy Toffoloni stepped away from WCW after a divorce from Kevin Sullivan and a brand new relationship with her on-screen boyfriend Chris Benoit. Nancy was said to be one of the best valets/mangers in professional wrestling and it was a heartbreaking tragedy when she was murdered by Chris Benoit.
