My first ever interview with a professional wrestler!! Not much else to say, so here it goes:
How did you come up with the character Session Moth Martina?
It came about with the birth of OTT and needing that extra Irish flare, I didn’t realize how much I would love it or keep at it so I started to grow the character from there. It’s just inspired by Dublin night life.
What are your feelings towards the up and coming Stardom Cinderella Tournament?
I am extremely excited, I remember last year sitting at home watching it when Toni (Storm) won, it’s absolutely surreal a year later I’m in it, it’s the stuff of dreams.
Are you ever worried your character won’t translate well in other countries?
I was at the beginning, I thought it was just an irish thing and that it wouldn’t take off in the UK or anywhere else, but I’ve found the jokes and humour translates well no matter where you go, it’s a goofy drunk person just out for fun really, it will be interesting to try and get that across in Japan with zero Japanese but I’m excited to try.
Who is your dream tag team partner?
Honestly I don’t know, I have tagged with so many people I admire, I’m gonna say Iron Sheik haha!
What’s your funniest match moment?
So so many, an old OTT where I was in a 6 man tag where all the boys were in kissing each other, I jumped in to get a kiss and they all jumped out of the ring, the ref included, my match tagging with Jordan Devlin vs B Cool & Trent Seven is probably the funniest, the time I passed out and lost at eve due to a hangover. My Being The Elite Xmas Hardcore Match too. So many . Session Goth also.
How do always keep your character fresh and entertaining?
I just constantly try to find new things to do so it’s not the same Moth or same match every time, or else the gimmick would have grown tiresome after a few shows.
What absolutely crazy thing would you love to do in the ring?
Wrestle Pete Dunne 😂
