Founded in 2013, after then face wrestler Prince Devitt turned on his partner Ryusuke Taguchi, it was obvious that something different was coming. Originally meant to be a twosome (Devitt and his bodyguard Bad Luck Fale), New Japan decided to add Tama Tonga and Karl Anderson. It wasn’t long before more members joined the villainous stable, Nick and Matt Jackson came on board not long before Doc Gallows added his name to the hat. The stable was already alluring, there was something about an all heel stable that grabbed your attention and grabbed it well. Devitt left New Japan and after a brief leadership from Doc Gallows, new member AJ Styles comfortably slid into the leader role. Under Styles’ leadership, even more members joined; Kenny Omega, Chase Owens, Yujiro Takahashi and Cody Hall just to name a few. The stable was slowly becoming huge and unstoppable. In 2016, Omega took out Styles in spectacular fashion after their tag team match against then IWGP Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura and Yoshi-Hashi. After the attack, Omega named himself the new leader, and his era had begun. What an era it has been thus far. Adam Cole and Adam Page joined, along with ex WWE Superstar Cody Rhodes and Indy sensation Marty Scrull. The current stable consists of; Kenny Omega, The Young Bucks, Tama Tonga, Tanga Loa, Marty Scrull, Adam Page, Cody, Chase Owens and Yujiro Takahashi, with Omega at the head of the stable, their population has only risen. Bullet Club has been praised for the global popularisation of New Japan and with what each member brings forward, it’s easy to see why as their mere names sell out events. Its obvious the stable has selling power too as their shirts are fiercely popular on Pro Wrestling Tees and are available at every Hot Topic American and Candian wide. It is not hard to see why they are so incredibly popular, they’re highly entertaining, always winning belts and are charismatic as hell. The only way for Bullet Club is up as undoubtedly they grow. Who knows just how high Bullet Club will reach, its thrilling to watch, as they send out the message that they are for life.
